New York Giants rookie quarterback Daniel Jones is setting expectations sky high.

According to The New York Post, Jones recently told the media, “I think the goal is certainly to win Super Bowls. There’s no doubt about it, that the goal, to win multiple Super Bowls, like Eli has.”

You know what Jones should actually be focused on right now? Doing his best to prove his sixth overall selection by the Giants wasn’t a massive mistake. (RELATED: New York Giants Draft QB Daniel Jones, Pass On Dwayne Haskins)

I can’t remember the last time a top 10 quarterback pick was panned in such spectacular fashion. Nobody, and I mean absolutely nobody I know, thinks this kid is going to be a star in New York. The Giants could have had Dwayne Haskins and they opted for Jones.

If this goes south, the fans are going to riot.

I’m not cheering against Jones. I don’t have any particular beef with him at all. However, you’re kidding yourself if you think everybody is pleased with this pick from the Giants.

They’re not, and it’s only going to look worse if Haskins develops into a massive star with the Redskins.

Good luck, Giants fans! Sounds like you guys are in a for a fun few years.
