Police are investigating a potential drugging that may have taken place at Jake Paul’s California mansion over the weekend.

The YouTube sensation and Instagram star threw a birthday party for rapper Desiigner, and one attendee is claiming somebody drugged her.

TMZ reported the following late Monday afternoon:

We’re told cops are looking into whether the alleged victim — a female in her early 20s — unknowingly took something that severely impaired her. The investigation is in its early stages, and law enforcement is asking anyone with information to reach out to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department.

Important to note … neither Jake nor Desiigner is accused of anything. We reached out to Jake’s reps, but no word back.

TMZ also reported that Paul’s attorney Larry Stein stated they’re “working with authorities” to find out what might have happened.

This isn’t a great situation at all for anybody involved. Again, Paul and Desiigner aren’t being investigated for anything, but the last thing you want to be associated with is an alleged drugging at your house. It’s an awful look.

TMZ added there was apparently tons of security. That’s a great first step, but you sometimes just can’t stop bad people from doing bad things.

Luckily for Paul, he’s not really tied to this situation other than it might have taken place at his house.

If this woman was drugged, then the police need to find out who is responsible, and the person should be dealt with as harshly as possible.

As a society, we can have no tolerance for any of that kind of garbage. None at all. If you’re the kind of person who drugs women, then you deserve to get the hell beaten out of you.

I don’t care whether or not you agree with me. That’s the reality of the situation. Let’s hope the police, Paul, his legal team and anybody else who might know something are able to get to the bottom of this ugly situation.
