This is pretty cool. For those of you who watched “Last Chance U” on Netflix, you all know Ollie was one of the more likable and entertaining guys on the show when it was filmed at East Mississippi Community College. (RELATED: Oakland Raiders Are Working Out Richie Incognito)

My guess is that he probably didn’t get any guaranteed money and will have to work his butt off to make the opening day roster. He was signed after a tryout, and guys like that generally don’t have much coming their way.

Still, he’s getting his shot, and that’s all you can ask for in the NFL. Going from EMCC and Netflix on “Last Chance U” to the NFL is an incredible accomplishment.

He should be incredibly proud of making it this far after playing at Nicholls State.

We’ll have to wait and see if Jon Gruden is able to utilize him in a way that gets him on the final roster when week rolls around. There will be plenty of people cheering for him. That’s for sure.
