Meghan Markle’s Father Wishes Family Well After Royal Birth

Meghan Markle’s estranged father wished the couple well after the birth of their baby boy on Monday.

Markle reportedly went into labor first thing Monday morning and gave birth to the royal baby shortly after, according to The Sun. Her father expressed pride regarding the arrival of his newest grandchild.

We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz. The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives. “I’m delighted to hear that mother and child are doing well,” Thomas Markle said in a statement. “I am proud that my new grandson is born into the British royal family and I am sure that he will grow up to serve the crown and the people of Britain with grace, dignity, and honor.”

Meghan and Prince Harry have been estranged with Meghan’s father since he missed the royal couple’s wedding back in May of 2018. The couple reportedly haven’t spoken to Thomas since he conducted a series of interviews with the media.

This afternoon, His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex shared the news of the arrival of his and the Duchess’ first born child. Their son was born early morning on the 6th of May, 2019 and weighs 7lbs and 3oz. Their Royal Highnesses thank you for your support and kindness during this exceptionally joyful time in their lives as they welcome their baby boy.

Meghan reportedly sent her father a letter asking him to stop speaking to the media which he later released to the tabloids. Her father was also accused of staging paparazzi photos leading up to the wedding, but it was later revealed that her sister set those up.

Royal expert Duncan Larcombe claims there is a high chance Thomas never gets to meet his grandchild.

“I can’t think for a moment that Thomas Markle will ever be able to meet his grandson or granddaughter,” Larcombe said in a clip from the documentary “Meghan & Harry: A Royal Baby Story.”
