Everyone wants to know how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle came up with their baby boy’s name, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

As previously reported, the new parents introduced their first son to the Queen of England and then announced the baby’s name on their Instagram account. All announcements have been made to the public via the couple’s official Instagram account. Since the debut of the name, many have asked what the significance is behind it.

“There was no special meaning behind the name, the couple just loved it,” a royal source told Entertainment Tonight. (RELATED: Royal Baby Name Revealed By Prince Harry And Meghan Markle)

“It was such a lovely moment with Her Majesty. Everyone was so touched,” the source said about the moment the Queen met her new grandchild. “It’s been such a magical time and Meghan and Harry are so incredibly happy.”

Markle reportedly went into labor in the early hours of Monday morning. The royal couple waited two days to give the world a first look at the newborn, breaking away from royal tradition. Kate Middleton and Prince William have posed with all three of their children immediately following the birth.

Baby Archie is seventh in line for the throne falling behind Prince Charles, Prince William, his three cousins and Prince Harry.
