Toronto Raptors forward Serge Ibaka suffered a rough head injury in a Tuesday night win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Ibaka got drilled in the head by his own teammate while going for a rebound, and it became clear immediately he was in substantial pain. (RELATED: TV Ratings For The NBA Playoffs Are Down 26 Percent From 2018)

Following the injury, he had a pretty nasty and noticeable bump on his head.

Luckily, he was able to return to the game and even threw down an impressive slam after bouncing back from the head injury.

I’m honestly a little surprised he was able to come back into the game. Given the fact he had a massive bump on his head, you’d think he might have suffered a concussion.

But that didn’t appear to be the case. He should consider himself very lucky. A hit like that to the head could have easily ended his night.

Luckily for him, he bounced back in a big way and got the win for the Raptors.
