Thousands Of Pro-Lifers Protest Rep. Brian Sims At Philly Planned Parenthood

Thousands of pro-life individuals protested Democratic Pennsylvania state Rep. Brian Sims on Friday outside of the Philadelphia Planned Parenthood clinic where he had previously harassed pro-life women.

Sims posted a video on social media last weekend, in which he confronted and repeatedly mocked an elderly woman protesting outside the same Planned Parenthood clinic.

Daily Wire writer Matt Walsh came up with the idea for a protest in response to Sims and spoke at the rally. (RELATED: CNN, MSNBC Ignore PA Rep. Sims Harassing Women Outside Planned Parenthood)

Alexandra DeSanctis of National Review reported that other speakers were “Lila Rose, founder and president of Live Action; Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood clinic director who now operates And Then There Were None, which helps abortion-clinic workers leave their jobs; the mother of the teenage girls Sims attempted to identify on film; and volunteers from the local group Pro-Life Union of Greater Philadelphia.”

In the video of Sims harassing the woman last week, he said to the camera, “Who’d have thought that an old lady would be outside a Planned Parenthood telling people what is right for their bodies? What you are doing here is disgusting. This is wrong. You have no business being out here.” (RELATED: ‘Old White Lady’ — Pennsylvania State Rep Harasses Elderly Abortion Protester)

Following the backlash, another video surfaced from a month ago of Sims doing the same thing to a mother, her two daughters and one of their friends.

After confronting these women, Sims left and then came back to film his second interaction with them.

“What we’ve got here is a bunch of … pseudo-Christian protesters who’ve been out here shaming young girls for being here,” Sims said in the video. “So, here’s the deal, I’ve got $100 to anybody who will identify these three, and I will donate to Planned Parenthood.”
