Cate Blanchett is an Australian actress born in Melbourne. Blanchett graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art. She began her career with roles in “Electra” and “Hamlet.” She also starred in the film “Elizabeth” for which she won a BAFTA Best Actress award. Blanchett is married to screenwriter Andrew Upton. The two were married in 1997 and have four children together.
