This is a great sign from OBJ. Lots of players, especially star players, don’t feel like it’s necessary to attend voluntary activities. (RELATED: New York Giants Trade Odell Beckham Jr. To The Cleveland Browns)
It’s always bothered the hell out of me. If you’re a leader, then you should be in the building for voluntary activities.

As a coach of mine used to say, by not showing up to voluntary practices, you’re volunteering yourself not to play.
I’ve been critical of OBJ at times, but this is a wise decision. If he wants to be taken seriously by his new teammates as one of the leaders on the team, then he has to be a very visible face throughout offseason workouts.

The Browns went from being one of the biggest jokes in all of pro sports to being one of the most interesting teams in the entire NFL.
They’re absolutely loaded with talent on offense right now. They’ve got Baker Mayfield, OBJ, Jarvis Landry, Kareem Hunt, Nick Chubb, Duke Johnson and David Njoku. On paper, that’s one hell of a strong lineup. (RELEASED: Kareem Hunt Signs With The Cleveland Browns)

Of course, it doesn’t mean anything until they win some games in 2019, but it’ll be fascinating to watch unfold.
Whether they win or lose, with all those big personalities in the building, I can promise you all it’ll be extremely entertaining.
