Hot diggity dog! Weiner’s out of the halfway house.

For the last three months, Anthony Weiner, a former House member representing New York’s 9th congressional district and two-time mayoral candidate failure, has been living in a halfway house in the Bronx. This was Weiner’s transitional living arrangement between prison and the real world.

The New York Post reported the news that Weiner, 54, is ready for a new chapter in his life. But it’s unclear what exactly that means for a Level 1 sex offender.

I hope to be able to live a life of integrity and service,” he said. “I’m glad this chapter of my life is behind me.” (RELATED: Weiner Went Shopping For Book Deal — Interest Is Flaccid)

Level 1 sex offenders must register for 20 years, but the ranking is low-risk as sex offenders are concerned.

In 2017, Weiner was sentienced to 21 months in prison for sexting a 15-year-old girl.

The NYP reported that Weiner walked out of the halfway house just after 6 a.m. Tuesday in khaki pants. He was released three months early for good behavior.

But good behavior is all relative and Weiner has a knack for having his life mushroom out of control. The Washington Post reported that Weiner was chatting with as many as 19 women when he was caught sexting with the 15-year-old.

The ex-lawmaker’s fall from grace — or, Congress — happened in 2011 when he accidentally tweeted out an underwear crotch shot. (He thought he was DM-ing??!!). He has served in Congress for nearly 12 years. The media chased him around Capitol Hill for weeks until Breitbart News’s Andrew Breitbart broke a lot of the pivotal news regarding the famed bulging picture that was actually Weiner’s weiner. Breitbart appeared on the Opie & Anthony radio show and things got out of hand. Breitbart‘s scoop put his brand of journalism on the map. He died in 2012.

Weiner has a son with longtime Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin. The odd political couple married in 2009. Abedin officially filed for divorce in 2019, but later dropped the court case. The couple is handling the matter privately.
