Miami Dolphins quarterback Josh Rosen says he hasn’t heard from Arizona Cardinals General Manager Steve Keim.

The Cardinals drafted Kyler Murray first overall in the 2019 NFL draft, and that resulted in Rosen getting shipped to the Dolphins. You’d think Keim and the former 2018 first round selection would have had a talk at some point in time. Apparently, that’s not the case. Rosen said the following when discussing Keim with Rich Eisen, according to Tuesday:

The only thing that really did kind of frustrate me through this whole process was like I still haven’t heard from my old GM. I hadn’t talked to him for months before. Still haven’t talked to him after. That was kind of frustrating, but for the most part, I’m just ready to put that whole chapter behind me and keep pushing on and playing football.

If Rosen is telling the truth — and I have no reason to believe he’s not — then Keim should be embarrassed with himself.

The Dolphins new quarterback says head coach Kliff Kingsbury talked to him almost immediately about the Murray selection, which is a classy move to do.

Keim not having the courage to pick up the phone and thank Rosen for his time with the team is borderline embarrassing.

The NFL is a business. We all understand that, but you should still have the decency to pick up the phone and talk to Rosen.

At the very least, shoot him a text.

Keim should have done much better and been much more professional. Rosen gave everything he had to the Cardinals for a year, and I think it’s safe to say he deserved to be treated with a bit more respect.
