Lamar Odom opened up about his relationship with ex-wife Khloé Kardashian and his cocaine addiction in a report published Wednesday by People magazine.
The former basketball player is known for his constant affairs during his four-year relationship with Kardashian. Odom revealed how he wishes things had turned out differently in his new memoir, “Darkness To Light,” according to People.
“I wish I could have been more of a man,” Odom told People. “It still bothers me to this day. But regret is something we have to learn to live with.” (RELATED: Remember Lamar Odom? He Was Reportedly Kidnapped Over Gambling Debts)
In the book, Odom details how his relationship with Kardashian changed over time due to his inability to handle the fame and how the two went from happy couple to finalized divorce in 2016.
“For a while, being with her was bliss, and I was the happiest I’ve ever been,” Odom wrote in his book. “We were one of the most famous couples in Hollywood, and we made more money together than we had individually.”
“At the start of our marriage, I was faithful to her,” he wrote. “I could not handle the lethal cocktail of the spotlight, addiction, a diminishing career and infidelity. Oh, did I mention the paranoia, anxiety, depression? … I couldn’t keep my d**k in my pants or the coke out of my nose.”
