Sean Hannity claimed his sources told him the Department of Justice has concluded an investigation into possible Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) abuse, and the results are “devastating.”

“I have sources telling me that [Michael] Horowitz perhaps is even finished with his report and certainly, [Attorney General William Barr] has been briefed on what is coming,” the Fox News evening host said, adding that he believes three FISA warrants issued against former Trump campaign aide Carter Page were illegal.

Hannity issued the declaration twice on his Wednesday night show, according to the Washington Examiner. He raised the assertion for the second time when he was conducting an interview with South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham, who is also chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Graham and his committee are in the midst of their own FISA investigation, and he told Hannity that he could not confirm or deny reports that DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz is poised to release his findings but said he believes those findings will be extremely consequential. Attorney General William Barr recently stated that he expects the IG’s report on his desk in late May or early June. Former MI6 agent Christopher Steele, whose dirty dossier apparently prompted the FBI to begin spying on the Trump campaign, has reportedly refused to meet with Horowitz. Viewers heard Fox News legal analysis Greg Jarrett say that Horowitz is well within his rights to prosecute anyone he deems to have violated FISA laws.

Jarrett continued that U.S. Attorney John Durham, who is investigating why the Russia investigation was mandated on behalf of Barr, could “subpoena people to haul them in front of a grand jury. I suspect there is a grand jury and they’re well on their way to potential criminal indictments.”

Jarrett speculated that a number of former FBI officials are “likely” facing potential prosecution, including former Director James Comey, former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, former top lawyer James Baker and former special agent Peter Strzok.
