Kelly Clarkson has seen the rumors that alleged she’s been taking “weird pills” to lose weight and she wants fans to know it’s nothing except “fake news.”
“Other fake news that’s going around about me is that I’ve been taking weird pills [for] weight loss or doing weird fad diets,” the 37-year-old pop singer tweeted Thursday to her millions of followers, without sharing a link to the alleged news reports. “I literally read this book, and I did it for this autoimmune disease that I had and I had a thyroid issue, and now all my levels are back up,” the “Stronger” hitmaker explained at the time. “I’m not on medicine anymore because of this book.”

The book that turned things around for her was from Dr. Steven R. Gundry called, “The Plant Paradox,” per People magazine.
“It’s basically about how we cook our food, non-GMO, no pesticides, eating really organic,” Clarkson shared.
As previously reported, the “Back To You” singer recently made headlines when she shut down another set of rumors, this time involving reports that she and fellow “Idol” winner Carrie Underwood were feuding. Her response showed her usual wit and another reasons fans love her.
