Hey, Hey, Hey…It’s America’s Dad…I know it’s late, but to all of the Dads… It’s an honor to be called a Father, so let’s make today a renewed oath to fulfilling our purpose — strengthening our families and communities. #HappyFathersDay #RenewedOathToOurFamily #RenewedOathToOurCommunity #AmericasFavoriteDad #FarFromFinished

The tweet left many Twitter users wondering how exactly the post made it on the internet considering the “Cosby Show” actor is in prison. Cosby requested a message be posted from his account for Father’s Day, a representative for Cosby told USA Today.
Does he have Twitter access in prison? Or is this the worst scheduled tweet ever? https://t.co/24S4JVr8RU

Other users noted the irony of Cosby referring to himself as “America’s Dad.”

Cosby may have had good intentions, but it seems like his attempt at sending a warming Father’s Day message fell flat.
Maybe if you’ve been convicted of sexual assault, a Father’s Day message isn’t the best thing to post, especially if you’re going to refer to yourself as “America’s Dad.” He lost that title the moment the judge pronounced him guilty of sexual assault.
