President Donald Trump mocked NBC and MSNBC on Wednesday night for having major audio issues during the first Democratic debate.

The network was forced to cut to commercial shortly after switching debate moderators because of a microphone problem that caused a litany of background noise. Moderator Chuck Todd later indicated that the problem was that the microphones on the old moderators were still turned on while they were sitting in the audience. The president called the network “unprofessional” for the production mistake in a tweet.

“.@NBCNews and @MSNBC should be ashamed of themselves for having such a horrible technical breakdown in the middle of the debate. Truly unprofessional and only worthy of a FAKE NEWS Organization, which they are!” the president said.

In another tweet, Trump dubbed the debate “BORING!”

The president has repeatedly accused NBC of being the worst of the “fake news” networks that he believes cover him in a biased and unfair manner.
