Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez’s relationship is reportedly not on as steady ground as believed and a source said the power couple might never walk “down the aisle” due to “tension.”
“Friends have seen them [Lopez and Rodriguez] argue frequently. There’s a lot of passion in their relationship, which helps and hurts the pair – especially when their personalities clash because you just know a blowup is about to ensue,” a source close to the couple told Fox News in a piece published Wednesday. The insider said that the tipping point came last week when the former New York Yankees slugger made headlines after he claimed Kylie Jenner only talked about how rich she is when the two met during the 2019 Met Gala, in an interview for Sports Illustrated.
The “Jenny from the Block” hitmaker was reportedly “incredibly upset at Alex because she expected him to know better.”
“J.Lo basically told him that she doesn’t care what he says during his interviews as long as it doesn’t encroach on their family or her personal and professional relationships – and when Alex said what he said about Kylie, J.Lo felt he crossed the line,” the source shared.
Shortly after those reports surfaced, the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star hit back at the claim and tweeted, “Umm no I didn’t. We only spoke about Game of Thrones.”

It wasn’t long after, Rodriguez appeared to reverse course and take back his earlier comments.
“OMG that’s right @KylieJenner!! It was me talking about you and your makeup line and how much my girls love you. #GOT #respect #alllove,” the MLB All-Star tweeted.
As previously reported, the two got engaged earlier this year when he got down on one knee and proposed to Lopez during a trip in the Bahamas.
