Former “Bachelorette” Kaitlyn Bristowe defended Hannah Brown after she opened up about her sex life during the reality television show.

Brown received some backlash on the internet after she admitted to a contestant that she had sex while filming, according to a report published Wednesday by E! News.

A Twitter user pointed out to Bristowe that some women were coming after Brown and reportedly slut-shaming the Alabama native in the same way they did to Bristowe when it was revealed she had sex with Nick Viall during her season on “The Bachelorette.” (RELATED: Hannah Brown Admits To Having Sex With A Contestant During ‘Bachelorette’ Filming In Shocking Preview)

“Women can have sex if they choose, and women can wait till marriage if they choose,” Bristowe said while defending Brown. “Point is, ITS THEIR CHOICE. When you’re making a life-altering decision to find a life partner, intimacy can be important. Why is that so hard to understand?#TheBachelorette.”

I love when Bachelor Nation comes together and supports one another. We need to be more open to talking about sex on TV. Everyone always wants to know what goes on in the fantasy suite, but then wants to pass judgement when they find out.

Just let people live their lives. It’s really not that hard. Props to Brown for being open about her flaws and her life choices.
