SB Nation apparently thinks Nebraska is finally ready to play with the big boys like Wisconsin.

The popular publication released a piece titled “4 reasons the Big Ten West could be deeply entertaining in 2019” that broke down why fans might be in for a fun time. Unfortunately, it continued to push false narratives about Nebraska’s football program. (RELATED: Wisconsin 2019 Football Expectations: Can The Badgers Get 10 Or More Wins?)

SB Nation wrote in part when discussing the Big 10 West:

Betting odds make clear that Nebraska is expected to finally give Wisconsin a run for its money.

Nebraska is 1-7 against Wisconsin since joining the Big Ten, with some real stinging defeats in there.

But Scott Frost has invigorated the program, and the Huskers looked feisty enough in 2018 to generate a good bit of excitement.

Here’s a live look at my reaction to this news.

When will the propaganda end? Do the Cornhuskers have dirt on all these publications to make them write such absurd things? I’m really starting to wonder if Frost knows where all the bodies are buried and nobody will touch him.

They won four games last season! Four! How many times do I need to remind people of this before it’ll sink in. I’ve never in my life seen such a bad team get so much hype. It’s almost like facts don’t even matter.

I hope all these idiots get the reckoning they deserve when the season starts at the end of August. Everybody wants to be on the Cornhuskers because it’s the sexy and trendy pick.

For those of us living in reality, we know they’re not worth the hype until they prove it. Considering the fact they play my Badgers this season, we’ll get this settled once and for all.

Of course, when Wisconsin smacks Nebraska, none of these writers will recant what they’ve said, but I accept that fact.

See you all November 16. Probably won’t see too many Nebraska fans afterwards because they’ll be running for the hills with embarrassment and shame.

The reckoning is coming, my friends. Get ready.
