Nationalism has been on the rise since President Donald Trump’s election in 2016. The specific brand of nationalism heralded by Trump has generally carried a socially conservative and economically populist ideology.
Professor F.H. Buckley addressed the growing movement when he spoke Tuesday at the National Conservatism Conference in Washington, D.C. on the topic “The Logic and Limits of American Nationalism.”
F.H. Buckley is a professor at George Mason University School of Law, a contributor to several publications such as The American Spectator and the Wall Street Journal and the author of nine books.
Professor Buckley sat down with the Daily Caller to discuss the origins of American nationalism, the biggest threats to the burgeoning movement and where he believes it will go in the future.
