Reading through the comments left by fans and celebrities, everyone shared just how proud they were of the “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” singer.

“Love you,” English filmmaker Samantha Louise Taylor-Johnson wrote, along with a few heart emojis.

Actress and model Elizabeth Hurley shared several heart emojis in her comment on his sobriety post.

The “Lion King” star’s story with alcohol and drug addiction has been well documented. Most recently, in the biopic “Rocketman” featuring Taron Egerton as the legendary singer.

John told Variety magazine in May about how he had “lost touch” with the life he knew before becoming a worldwide celebrity and star.

“The life I was leading — flying on [his legendary private plane] the Starship, living in beautiful houses, buying things left, right and center — it was not a normal life, not the sort of life I came from anyway,” the “Tommy” star shared, “I lost complete touch with that.”

“There were times I was having chest pains or staying up for three days at a time,” he added, “I used to have spasms and be found on the floor and they’d put me back to bed and half an hour later I’d be doing the same. It’s crazy.”
