Prince Harry Shares Exactly How Many Kids He Wants To Have With Meghan Markle

Prince Harry is definitely a proud father after Meghan Markle gave birth in May to their little boy, Archie Harrison. But the royal is really only planning on having one more child.

In a question and answer session with activist Jane Goodall for the U.K. Vogue, the Duke of Sussex shared that he wants no more than “two, maximum” kids, according to Fox News in a piece published Tuesday. (RELATED: Duchess Meghan Markle Reportedly Plans To Raise Royal Baby Gender Neutral)

“I think, weirdly, because of the people that I’ve met and the places that I’ve been fortunate enough to go to, I’ve always had a connection and a love for nature,” the member of the royal family explained. “I view it differently now, without question.” (RELATED: Report: Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Plan To Have At Least One More Child)

The duke continued, “I’ve always wanted to try and ensure that, even before having a child and hoping to have children – two, maximum!” (RELATED: Report: Meghan Markle And Kate Middleton’s Alleged Feud Really Between Prince Harry And Prince William)

“But I’ve always thought: this place is borrowed,” the 34-year-old new dad shared. “And, surely, being as intelligent as we all are, or as evolved as we all are supposed to be, we should be able to leave something better behind for the next generation.”

As previously reported, wife Meghan Markle guest edited the September Vogue issue that highlights 15 women who she said “break barriers” rather than just the Duchess of Sussex,

“From the very beginning, we talked about the cover – whether she would be on it or not,” the magazine’s editor-in-chief Edward Enninful shared. “In the end, she felt that it would be in some ways a ‘boastful’ thing to do for this particular project.”

“She wanted, instead, to focus on the women she admires,” he added.
