ESPN recently released an incredible video of Kansas football coach Les Miles.

Miles took over the Jayhawks program after his time with LSU came to an end. He won the 2007 national title with the Tigers, but eventually his time with the program had to end. Now, he’s taken over the enormous challenge of rebuilding Kansas, and he doesn’t care if the job seems impossible to the outside world. “I think that’s hornswoggle. I don’t give a damn what you think to be honest. I look at the guys differently than you do to be honest. I like at what they can be, not what they have been,” Miles responded when asked if Kansas was the most challenging head coaching job in the Power 5.

It truly would be something spectacular if Miles actually managed to do something major with the Jayhawks. They’ve been so bad for so long.

I’m not talking about just okay years that most of us find despicable. I’m talking about embarrassment that is almost hard to comprehend.

Kansas football has been nothing more than a sad joke these past few seasons.

Now, they’ve got Les Miles running the show. There honestly might not be a man better suited for the job. He’s just crazy enough that anything he tries could actually work.

The man won a ton of games with LSU. He won’t have the same kind of talent to work with, but he also won’t be playing SEC competition.

There’s a big difference between the Big 12 and the top teams in the SEC.

Let me just put it this way for all of you. I certainly wouldn’t want to be the man betting against Les Miles.
