Saturday Down South has named LSU as the best fanbase in all of college football.
The top 10, according to SDS, are as follows:
- LSU
- Ohio State
- Alabama
- Michigan
- Clemson
- Oklahoma
- Georgia
- Notre Dame
- Auburn
- Texas
I don’t want to sound dramatic here, but the teams at the top of this list are downright absurd. LSU? LSU at number one? Give me a break. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
That’s absurd. My interaction with LSU fans has been pretty limited, but they haven’t left an overwhelmingly positive impression on me.
One fan of the Tigers tried to fight me once because I pointed out the fact Danny Etling wasn’t good enough to play at Purdue, but he had no issue starting at LSU.

These are the facts, and they don’t care about your feelings. The LSU fan literally tried to square up with me. I had to stop myself from falling over because I was laughing so hard.

To be honest, when it comes to SEC programs, the fans that have always impressed me the most are Ole Miss and Alabama.
I know a lot of people who pull for both programs, and they’re all passionate as hell, highly-educated on the teams and they cheer their hearts out.
The idea that LSU is somehow ahead of them is absurd. It’s so laughably stupid that I almost think we’re being punked right now.

As for my Badgers, they came in at 17 on the list. That’s so ridiculous that I almost feel bad for the people who put this list together.
I only have on reaction to such a stupid ranking.
Everybody knows Wisconsin has the best fanbase in the Big 10 and anybody who says otherwise should visit a doctor to get their head checked.
