Axios is swooning over the, ahem, bulging biceps of South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg. There’s no question that there has been a stirring in the nation’s loins for this presidential hopeful — he’s, young, fresh, gay, has a quick-witted husband named Chasten, and rarely turns down a media interview.
But really Axios? In the words of Swedish activist Greta Thunberg, “how dare you.” This is supposed to be a serious race, a serious election and a serious quest for lefties to win back the White House.

Axios featured a side by side of Buttigieg in Mike Allen‘s morning Top 10. Butti came in at number 4. In the picture on the left, he’s scrawny and looks like he could be about 14-years-old. In the one on the right, his arms fill out his white button-down. And this is just since the springtime flowers started blooming. So either he just bought smaller shirts (in the boy’s department), or as Axios reports, the candidate has been pumping iron five to seven days a week.

I’m just wondering why they didn’t offer a “going deeper” feature on this one.

Washington Free Beacon‘s David Rutz remarked, “Be Smart: Being in shape is good.”
Some came to Buttigieg’s defense. After all, it’s not his fault that Axios flaunted his hot bod.
“Everyone in the replies shitting on Pete right now: Oh no what a bad person Pete is for trying to stay healthy and look after his well being while on the campaign trail!” wrote Caramel Sun. “What a total shithead for actually being disciplined enough to workout!”
