Chris Pratt got everyone’s attention when he shamed his new wife’s cooking skills after he posted a picture of the burnt dinner on Instagram for his millions of followers.

But it appears that his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, might have done so on purpose to get her new husband to be the sole preparer of meals. (RELATED: Chris Pratt Visits Military Members For Film Screening, Continues To Be Awesome [PHOTOS])

“Proud of my darling for trying to cook tonight,” the 40-year-old actor captioned his post on Sunday. “Did it go well? No. No it did not. Not at all. To quote Rocky Balboa, ‘It’s not how many times you get knocked down, it’s how many times you get up… and keep moving forward.'” (RELATED: Chris Pratt Argues Hollywood Isn’t ‘Anti-Religious’: ‘They’re Kind Of Open To Anything’ [VIDEO])

“As you can tell from the lump of coal in the center of the plate, this bagel bite never stood a chance,” he added. “I honestly simply cannot imagine what went wrong here. Pretty simple. Microwave. 2 minutes. Maybe she thought it said 2 hours. But I want to commend her for her effort. This is a big step babe. Proud of you.”

Soon after, the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star’s followers started making hilarious comments in response to the post, including one person who wrote simply, “That’s a bagel bite? I can’t event comprehend.”

But it was Katherine who got in the last laugh when she responded to her husband’s post, “Looks like my plan to just have you do the cooking is working out very well,” along with a fingers crossed and winking face emoji.
