Memphis Grizzlies rookie sensation Ja Morant suffered a very scary fall Monday night against the Indiana Pacers.
Morant, who is off to a solid start in the NBA, was rushing down the court to score when things took a terrible turn. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
The former Murray State star came crashing down into the cameraman, and didn’t get up for a little bit. Eventually, he had to be helped up off of the floor.

Luckily, Morant did return to action later in the game. It would appear that the initial optics of the crash looked a lot worse than the reality of the situation.

Given how scary the crash looked, it’s a damn good thing Morant returned to action. The first two things I always fear when I watch something like that is a spine injury or an injury to the head.
Given how the NBA rookie didn’t get up, I think it’s more than understandable that people were so worried. Whenever you see somebody fall in that fashion, it’s always a cause for concern.

Luckily, Morant returned to action and is going to be okay. Given how bad it looked, he should consider himself very lucky.
