Lock was the second-round draft pick for the Denver Broncos, and has received extremely limited reps so far this season. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

If what he did against the Texans is a sign of things to come, then Lock is going to ball out for awhile in the league.

He tossed for more than 300 yards and tacked on three touchdowns.

I’ve been a big fan of Drew Lock ever since his days at Missouri. For whatever reason, I’ve just always felt like he was going to do big things.

Lighting up a very good Texans team in your second ever NFL start is about as good as it gets for a rookie quarterback.

He didn’t just play well. Lock dominated through the air.

If this is the kind of energy Lock is going to be playing with going forward, then Joe Flacco’s days of starting for the Broncos are probably over.

I told everybody Lock would be a solid NFL player, despite the fact he fell to the second round. Now, we’ll have to see if he can keep it up. He damn sure played out of his mind Sunday.
