Wisconsin Badgers running back Jonathan Taylor will play in the Rose Bowl against Oregon.
Star players sitting out bowl games is becoming an increasingly popular trend ever since the playoff came around. However, the man leading the Wisconsin rushing attack won’t be among the players doing it.

Taylor said the following when asked if he’d play in the bowl game, according to Saturday Tradition:
Yeah, I definitely want to help these guys finish out right. We earned the right to be here, play with these guys throughout the season. We also earned the right to play another game. Especially after today, I want to make sure these guys end off right.
Music to my ears. Music to my ears, folks. After getting screwed out of a B1G title against Ohio State, some players would have packed it in and prepared for the NFL. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
Not Taylor. He’s got a team and an offense to lead. This is his last ride, and we fully intend to send him out on top.

Something tells me there was never any doubt in Taylor’s mind about whether or not he’d play again. As a Wisconsin guy, I always assumed he’d play in the bowl game.
We don’t develop quitters in our program. We develop winners. Taylor is a winner and he’s one of the best players in the history of the sport.

Now, let’s go crush Oregon, and send Taylor out with another bowl game victory. He deserves nothing less.
