Big 10 basketball teams are dominating at home this season in conference play.

As pointed out by Saturday Tradition early Monday morning, home teams are a perfect 13-0 in conference games. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

That’s right. The road team hasn’t won a single time this season in conference play.

Home court advantage is a very real thing, and it’s even a bigger deal in the B1G. Big 10 basketball fans are crazy.

We’re passionate people!

My Badgers have been on both sides of this sword so far this season. We absolutely annihilated Indiana at home, and then turned around to get beat by Rutgers.

Winning in stadiums packed with thousands and thousands of screaming fans isn’t easy to do at all. Add in the fact the B1G is a stacked conference, and winning away games becomes an incredibly difficult task.

Trust me, as a Wisconsin guy, I hate having to travel to premier programs in the conference. When those stadiums getting rocking, it’s an atmosphere that becomes a living hell.

At the same time, there’s nothing like getting a huge win at home.

We’ll see which team gets the dubious distinction of being the first team to drop a home game. For the love of everything good in our world, please don’t let it be Wisconsin.
