The LSU Tigers are favored by a field goal against Clemson in the college football national title game.

According to Ben Fawkes, the opening line for the highly-anticipated game is at -3 in favor of the guys from Baton Rouge. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

None of us should be surprised that LSU is opening as the favorite. They put Oklahoma in the dirt in a fashion that is honestly just shocking.

Joe Burrow looked like he wasn’t human against the Sooners. People are going to jump on this LSU line because they’re not going to think.

While I think LSU opening as the favorite is correct, you’re a fool if you’re counting out Dabo Swinney and his guys.

Trevor Lawrence torched the best defense in America in the semi-final game against Ohio State.

Honestly, I’m leaning towards taking Clemson at +3 at the moment. After watching Lawrence heat up against a dominant OSU defense, I find it hard to believe he won’t score in bunches on LSU.

Of course, I’ll break it down a lot more over the coming days.
