This movie is almost certainly going to hit the $1 billion mark at this point. It’d be very surprising if it didn’t given all the early success.

It just goes to show why studios love pumping out movies with dedicated fan bases. You can make a “Star Wars” movie about anything, and it’s going to stack up cash.

Add in the fact “The Rise of Skywalker” was a decade in the making, and you have the perfect formula for success at the box office.

No matter what you thought about the move for those of you who saw it, you’d be a complete fool if you didn’t expect it to make a ton of money.

Now, it’ll be interesting to see what Disney does going forward with “Star Wars.” Given the fact the movies make so much cash, you can bet they’ll find a way to produce more content.

Will fans like it? Well, that’s a totally different discussion, but there’s no debate about whether or not these movies generate a ton of cash.
