Wisconsin Badgers running back Jonathan Taylor still hasn’t made a decision on the NFL draft.
Taylor was the most dominant running back in America this past season, and many (myself included) assumed he would be headed to the NFL as soon as the college season was over. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
However, it sounds like one of the most prolific rushers in the history of the sport is taking his time before making a decision.

“I kind of need some time. It’s been a long season, and we’ve had a lot of ups and downs, so I want to make sure I make the right decision,” Taylor told the media Friday, according to a Saturday report from 247Sports.

I think I speak for Wisconsin fans everywhere when I say we’re all supportive of whatever decision Taylor ends up making on his future.
Would we all love to watch him return for another year of dominating opposing defenses? Of course, but he also needs to get paid.

NFL running backs have very short careers. They don’t last long at all. That means you have to get your money while you can.
While I respect the hell out of Jonathan Taylor and would love to see him rewrite the record books his senior year, he should enter the draft.

He’s done more than enough for those of us who wear red and white and support the Badgers. Now, it’s time for him to get a bunch of money.
Hopefully, after the Rose Bowl, he rides off into the sunset and into a great NFL career.
