Musician Selena Gomez’s new album “Rare” debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.

The album has sold 112,000 units since it was released on Jan. 10, according to a report published Tuesday by Entertainment Tonight.

Gomez reacted to the news on her Instagram account.

“It’s officially out! I was a bit embarrassed asking so often for you to stream or buy my album,” Gomez captioned a screenshot of the news. “It felt inauthentic. Thank YOU so much for making something so personal to me be a moment I’ll never forget. All I truly desire is for you all to enjoy the music and spread the love.”

“Rare” debuting on the 200 chart marks Gomez’s third album to earn the honor. Both “Revival” and “Stars Dance” debuted in the top spot. (RELATED: Selena Gomez Drops New Album ‘Rare,’ Plus Debuts New Music Video)

Her first single from the new album, “Lose You To Love Me,” also earned Gomez a new accomplishment. The song became Gomez’s first song to hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

This is great news for Gomez. Her entire new album is amazing, but we could see more success for Gomez who has hinted that she has new music on the way. We know there’s a song called “Boyfriend” that will drop eventually.

Gomez deserves so much and I’m happy to see “Rare” be so successful for her. She’s put so much into it.
