The Detroit Lions saga with Matthew Stafford has continued to become engulfed by chaos.

Trading Stafford makes no sense for the Lions, and fans like myself will be furious if it happens. We’ve stuck by this team through thick and thin.

Stafford is our ironman quarterback, and it’s simply unacceptable if we just ditch him at this point.

The only justification for trading Stafford would be if he’s not physically able to go at a top level anymore because of his back.

We’ve seen zero evidence to suggest that’s true, which means trading him to draft Tua Tagovailoa is beyond stupid.

I’ll reconsider my position if I find out Stafford’s abilities have dropped off a cliff. Obviously, that would change everything.

However, we’ve seen nothing to suggest that’s the case. Stafford is our quarterback, and we riot if he’s traded. We riot!
