The Green Bay Packers won’t rule out drafting a quarterback.

The Packers already have one of the best quarterbacks in the league in Aaron Rodgers, but that won’t stop general manager Brian Gutekunst from evaluating every single option out there at the position.

“Everything I’ve been taught, that’s where you start. You start with the quarterback. So you evaluate them every year, and I think it’s always on the table. It’s a good crop this year,” Gutekunst said when discussing potentially drafting a quarterback, according to Ryan Wood. Given the fact I hate the Packers, I couldn’t be happier that Gutekunst made these comments. There are few players with thinner skin than Aaron Rodgers.

That dude goes hand-in-hand with drama, and the GM of the Packers even casually floating the idea of drafting a replacement is bound to cause issues.

Will the Packers draft somebody in the first round to replace their future hall of fame quarterback? Almost certainly not, which is why this comment is even funnier.

The Packers aren’t taking a passer with any pick of value, but this will most certainly annoy Aaron Rodgers. As a fan of the Lions, I love watching the world burn over in Green Bay.

I can’t wait to see what the Packers do in the draft. Taking a quarterback won’t happen, but annoying Aaron Rodgers almost certainly already has.

You just hate to see it!
