“His current duty status is retired,” NYPD media spokesperson Sergeant Jessica McRorie said.

McLoughlin has been spotted alongside Lambert as she continues her “Wildcard” tour. The former NYPD officer now works for Lambert as part of her security team, multiple sources told Fox News. McLoughlin was seen working as security for Lambert’s meet and greets at multiple concerts.

“Brendan was the security guard right before you go in to meet Miranda for her meet and greet,” an eyewitness told Fox News. “Other members of the security team told fans, ‘No photos with Brendan.'”

On Feb. 7, McLoughlin was spotted at a concert in Oklahoma checking fans’ bags. (RELATED: Miranda Lambert Gets Candid About Life Following Divorce From Blake Shelton And Her New Husband)

The career change comes after McLoughlin was forced to be put on driving duty in February of 2019 after he was harassed by media during his job. As previously reported, reporters had shown up at the precinct McLoughin worked at.

This seems like it’d be a good change for the two of them. They got secretly married really quickly after meeting. Being present during Lambert’s tour allows them to spend more time together. The roles seem to be reversed here considering he gave up his job for her.
