Matt Brown compiled a list of records and winning percentages for different conferences against ranked opponents, and only eight teams had winning records in the last 10 years, according to 247Sports. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The team with the best percentage? That’d be Ohio State at .778 with a record of 35-10 against ranked teams in the past decade.

Alabama came in second at .773 with a record of 51-15.

Ohio State being at the top is honestly a little surprising to me, especially when you consider the fact they had a 6-6 season the year before Urban Meyer arrived.

Even with that one horrible season, they still were so much better than other ranked teams that the Buckeyes came in at the top.

When you stop and think about it, that’s honestly incredible.

As for Alabama, Nick Saban has the Crimson Tide rolling down in Tuscaloosa, and he pretty much owns the SEC At this point.

It’s his world down in the south, and everybody else is just living in it.

Sound off in the comments if you’re surprised with OSU coming in first.
