UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov is very realistic about potentially boxing Floyd Mayweather.

There’s been some chatter about a boxing match between the two stars, and there’s no question the money would be huge. It could easily be north of $100 million. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Khabib understands it’s only about the money, and told Yahoo Sports, “Mayweather is only a money fight. It’s only for the money, period. That’s it. But they [the Saudis] want me to come very badly to fight with Mayweather.”

It’s refreshing to hear Khabib be so honest. A fight against Mayweather in Saudi Arabia would make him a staggering amount of money.

There’s no doubt about that at all. To pretend otherwise would just simply be incredibly dishonest.

Now, that’s not to say he shouldn’t do it. It’s a life changing amount of money. You have to do what you have to do in order to get paid.

Yet, let’s also not pretend like it’s anything other than a cash grab. We’re not idiots. Khabib should do it if he wants to get some generational money.

Just save the song and dance about how it’s a real fight. It’d be a stunt and nothing more. Again, I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with that.

Let’s just keep it real.
