Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady’s only request after joining the team was a simple one.

This is a veteran move by Brady, and it’s an incredibly smart move. It’s a sign that he recognizes he needs to win the locker room before doing anything else.
He can focus on the smaller stuff later. If he doesn’t have the support of the guys putting the pads on around him, then this will all be for nothing.

Brady is a smart guy, and he knows connecting with his new teammates is incredibly important. The fact the only thing he wanted after signing were phone numbers is a testament to his winning attitude.
He wanted to get to work immediately. If you don’t respect that, then you simply don’t understand what it takes to be a winner.
I can’t wait to see how this experiment with the Bucs and Brady works out. He’s a proven winner, but joining a new team is never easy.
