New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton has made a full recovery from coronavirus.

The legendary coach was the first person in the NFL to test positive for the virus, but he’s now officially made it out of the woods. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

According to TMZ, Payton said during an interview with WWL that he’s “doing well” and has been “cleared” of coronavirus.

During these tough times, it’s important to shine a light on good news when we can. It seems like we don’t have a ton of things to smile about right now.

I think we can agree Sean Payton — an icon in the game of football — recovering from coronavirus is something we can all celebrate.

As for the rest of us, we need to keep isolating and staying away from people and then we’re going to win this war against the virus.

I can promise you that much. Americans are way too damn strong to get broken by a virus. This nation will win, but it’s going to take a strong effort from everybody.

Let’s get it done!
