Wisconsin basketball star Brad Davison seemed pretty positive when discussing coronavirus ending March Madness in a recent interview.

The Badgers entered the B1G tournament as the number one team in the league after winning the regular season tie breakers. We were primed up and ready for a deep tournament run and to win a title. Instead, coronavirus murdered the hopes of millions of fans. Yet, Davison isn’t spending a lot of time being negative.

“Those are answers we’re never going to find out,” Davison told Bucky’s 5th Quarter about what would have happened in the tournament in an interview posted Sunday. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

He did admit the Badgers being named national champs by different outlets, including this one, made him emotional and happy.

You can watch his full comments below.

You can tell from that interview that Davison is just itching to get back on the court, and I don’t blame him one bit.

I’d be itching to get back on the court as well if I was him. The Badgers were dominating down the stretch and then it was all snatched away from us.

At the same time, it’s important to remember that we have a ton to look forward to as Wisconsin Badgers basketball fans.

We return pretty much the whole team, we closed out the season as strong as possible and we’re going to be a damn good team next season.

I can’t wait to see what we do next season. There’s no doubt Greg Gard has this program moving in the correct direction!
