Kiya is a clothing designer, and has shifted her focus for the time being to helping win the war. She told ESPN the following about the operation:

When I started it, I was like, we couldn’t finish our spring collection, so when we’re sitting at home doing nothing, we can sew this until it’s time to go back to work. I didn’t realize how fast and big the demand was going to be where now we have to deliver. Masks can be made. We make masks now.

I can’t tell you how many people I’ve seen making masks over the past couple weeks. I know so many people who have helped the war effort in that fashion.

Plenty of people back in Wisconsin have started producing masks while stuck at home isolating from the virus.

Now, Kiya is joining the fight to help win the war. Given the fact we need every ounce of help we can get, I think it’s safe to say plenty of people will be happy with her efforts.

It’s also another sign of the world off football stepping up the plate during this time of crisis. Never forget who answered the call when America needed heroes.
