Actress Jessica Simpson recreated her iconic 2003 Rolling Stone “Housewife Of The Year” cover, although it doesn’t look exactly what you’d think it’d look like.

Simpson shared her comparison Wednesday on her Instagram while following stay-at-home orders during the coronavirus pandemic. The “These Boots Were Made For Walkin'” singer was dressed in sweats with a scarf tied in her hair paired with fuzzy slippers.

“Housewife of the Year looks a little different these days,” she captioned a post showing both of the photos.

The new look is a far cry from the original 2003 cover shoot for Rolling Stone where Simpson is wearing a white tank top, cupcake-printed underwear and hot pink heels. The only cleaning product in her hands is a Swiffer. (RELATED: Jessica Simpson Reveals Details Of Childhood Sex Abuse, Addiction Struggle In New Memoir)

Simpson, as the new housewife, has figured out you need more products than a Swiffer to keep the house clean. In her new photo, she’s included Lysol toilet bowl cleaner.

I love that Simpson can poke fun at her old life like this. Her life now compared to her life when she was married to Nick Lachey is just so different in the best way possible. She also looks so happy in her photo. These photos made my day.
