Kansas and Missouri are reportedly working on putting together a football series.

According to Gabe DeArmond, Missouri athletic director Jim Sterk emailed donors that a four game series with the Jayhawks is being set up. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The Jayhawks and Tigers have one of the most historic rivalries in all of sports, but it’s fallen off ever since Missouri moved to the SEC. It looks like Sterk and Kansas trying to get the fire going again.

There’s no question fans would get up and get excited for a Tigers/Jayhawks series. It wouldn’t take any convincing at all for people to get pumped.

For the sake of college football, I hope it happens. Right now, we need as much good news as we can get.
