“Outer Banks” arrives Wednesday on Netflix.

Given the fact we’re all isolating at home because of coronavirus, we need stuff to keep ourselves entertained. Netflix’s newest series will be released April 15, and I can’t wait. (REVIEW: ‘Westworld‘ Shocks In Episode 4 ‘The Mother Of Exiles’ With The Return Of The Man In Black)

The plot of the seriesaccording to Netflix’s YouTube description, is as follows:

Outer Banks is a coming of age story that follows a tight-knit group of local teens (aka the Pogues) in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. When a hurricane kills the power for the summer season, it sets off a chain of illicit events that force the friends to make life-altering decisions. The search for their ringleader’s missing father, forbidden romances, a high-stakes treasure hunt, and the escalating conflict between the Pogues and their rivals turn their summer into one filled with mystery and adventure they’ll never forget.

We’ve had a decent amount of promo material for the series, and I think it could be the perfect series to binge as we wait to win the war against coronavirus.

It looks dark, suspenseful, crazy, violent, and mind-bending. “Outer Banks” looks like it’ll keep us on the edge of our seats from start to finish.

That’s more than good enough to hook me in!

Anything involving a treasure hunt for $400 million, nefarious villains and people whose loyalties are unknown is something I’m going to watch.

It looks like “Outer Banks” on Netflix will offer all of that and more.
