The Green Bay Packers are reportedly interested in quarterback Jalen Hurts.
According to Ian Rapoport, the Chargers and Packers have both had calls with the former Oklahoma star going into the draft, and both teams are “are expected to look to the future.” (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
Two interesting teams who have been in touch with and monitoring #OU QB Jalen Hurts: The #Packers and the #Chargers. Both had meetings set up with him and have done virtual calls. Both have a veteran (of varying degrees) in as the starter and are expected to look to the future.

Is Jalen Hurts about to steal Aaron Rodgers’ job? Probably not, but let the speculation begin! Nothing would be funnier than watching the Packers burn a second round pick on the former Oklahoma and Alabama sensation.
Aaron Rodgers isn’t going anywhere in the near future, but you always have to prepare for the future when you have an aging quarterback.
Watching Packers fans debate Rodgers’ job security for the next couple seasons with Hurts on the bench would be laugh-out-loud funny.
As somebody who hates Green Bay, nothing would be funnier to me than watching the carnage unfold. It’d be hilarious to watch the chaos mount with Hurts waiting in the wings.
I’ve said it several times, and I’ll say it again. I honestly believe Hurts can be a very solid quarterback in the NFL.
The game is shifting to his skill set, and he’s as athletic as they come. The idea that he can’t throw the ball is also absurd.
Will the Packers pick him? I don’t know, but I know he has the physical tools and work ethic to hang around in the NFL for a long time.
