America needs a little inspiration during the coronavirus pandemic, and there’s no better time than right now for Herb Brooks’ legendary speech from “Miracle.”

As you all know, I’m a huge fan of the Miracle on Ice and the movie with Kurt Russell about the greatest hockey game ever played. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

When America needed a boost, a group of ragtag hockey players upset the Soviet Union in the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, and proceeded to win the gold medal.

Brooks’ legendary speech was one of the greatest moments of “Miracle,” and his motivational words are needed right now during the war against coronavirus.

Give the speech from the movie a watch below.

If that speech didn’t get you fired up and ready to win this war, then I’m not sure anything ever will. Herb Brooks is unfortunately no longer with us, but I have no doubt he’d be out here inspiring people left and right during the pandemic.

The man knew how to get the most out of his players, to believe in themselves and to win against all odds.

That’s exactly what America needs during this war.

I hope Brooks’ iconic words have you ready to dominate the week and beat coronavirus. If we could beat the Soviets in 1980, then we can win this war.

Let’s all enjoy a few more great moments from the movie!
