Gronk retired after the Patriots won their last Super Bowl, and didn’t play a single snap of football last season. Despite that fact, people have always wondered if he’d play again. When talking with Andy Cohen, the three-time Super Bowl champion said “you never know” when talking about potentially playing again.

You can watch his full comments below.

Folks, I hate to be the one to burst your bubble, but Gronk is almost certainly just messing with people. He knows how to generate headlines, and that’s exactly what he’s doing here.

Gronk isn’t going back to the NFL. He’s just not, and that’s pretty obvious to anybody following along. He’s been crystal clear about his health issues and revealed after retiring that he suffered a ton of concussion.

On top of all of that, Gronk is always dating Camille Kostek and crushing life in retirement. Why would anybody give that up to return to football?

He has his money, three Super Bowl rings and is dating one of the hottest women on the planet. The legendary Patriots tight end most certainly doesn’t need to be getting hit on a football field.

He should just keep enjoying retirement. There’s no doubt Gronk has earned it.
