The LSU Tigers set an NFL record for the most players ever taken in a single draft.

From Thursday through Saturday, the Tigers had a staggering 14 players taken by teams around the league. Quarterback Joe Burrow led the way as the first pick of the draft. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

There has been a lot of debate about whether or not the LSU team from this past season was the greatest college team ever.

Well, the fact they set the record for most NFL draft picks should only add fuel to the fire. They bulldozed the college football scene in 2019 on their way to a national title, and did it while loaded with NFL talent.

It’s hard to put in perspective just how impressive having 14 players picked is. That’s simply a mind-boggling number.

I don’t know what Coach Ed Orgeron has in the water down in Baton Rouge, but it’s clearly working for him.
